About Todd Buchanan:

I have more than 25 years of experience as a photojournalist working for magazines and newspapers from National Geographic to the New York Times and I have been part of 2 Pulitzer Prize winning teams. In the early years I had done wedding photography when friends and colleagues wanted someone to give their wedding photos a personal and candid approach. Not any of the staged or hokey photos that looked forced and were never a part of your day.
Lately I have been expanding my services to others and I have seen a large demand for the style of photography I produce.

My approach is a documentary or photojournalistic style that comes from years of experience. I try to learn about your plan for the wedding and blend in with the family and friends. I don’t order you around and tell you what to do. Sure we will have to do some of the standard Group photos with the family and in-laws and portraits, but we can do those with efficiency and ease and hopefully with some fun. But the majority of my coverage is made of those special moments and not staged "fake" shots.
